Private Brunch Chef - Chef Matts Culinary Creations

    Private Brunch Chef

Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthdays & Morning-After Celebrations

There's something about a late-morning gathering — sunlight through the windows, the smell of fresh coffee, eggs sizzling on the stove — that makes every occasion feel warmer. A private brunch chef takes that feeling and elevates it into a fully hosted culinary experience in your own home.

Chef Matt creates custom brunch menus for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday brunches, post-wedding morning-after celebrations, holiday gatherings, and any occasion that calls for a relaxed, elegant morning meal. From made-to-order omelettes and eggs Benedict to French toast, seasonal fruit platters, and house-baked pastries — every dish is prepared fresh in your kitchen and served at your table.

    Book Breakfast & Brunch

Brunch is harder than dinner. The kitchen runs through breakfast and lunch food at the same time — pastry, eggs, smoked fish, savory mains, fruit, sweets — and the service window is shorter than dinner. Most home hosts try to brunch and end up missing the brunch. A private brunch chef changes that math: the host is at the table from the first arrival.

Chef Matts Culinary Creations runs private brunch services across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.

    When Private Brunch Service Fits

Bridal brunches — pre-wedding gatherings, often the morning after a rehearsal dinner or the day before a wedding. Twelve to thirty guests typical.

Post-wedding brunches — the morning-after service for out-of-town wedding guests staying at one home or rental. Often the last meal of a wedding weekend.

Baby showers — daytime gatherings, often hybrid food-and-events. Brunch service paired with sit-down or grazing-format presentation.

Family weekend gatherings — Sunday brunches for extended family, post-event gatherings, milestone celebrations.

Vacation rental brunches — common in Shore and Myrtle Beach work as part of a multi-day chef engagement.

Engagement and milestone brunches — celebratory daytime events with a more elevated brunch format.

    Brunch Service Formats

Plated brunch service — coursed or two-course plated menus. Best for guest counts under fifteen. More formal feel, slower pace, full presentation.

Family-style brunch — platters and shared dishes to the table. Better for groups of fifteen to twenty-five. Casual but composed.

Station-format brunch — multiple serving stations for guest counts of twenty to forty. Stations might include a smoked fish board, frittata or omelet station, hand-cut pastry display, fresh juice bar, and savory mains. Guests serve themselves at pace.

    What's Included

A standard brunch service booking includes:

    • Menu calibration in advance
    • Sourcing — pastry (baked or sourced fresh from selected bakeries), seafood, produce, dairy
    • On-site preparation and station setup
    • Service through the brunch window
    • Cleanup at the end of service

Pastry is a particular point of attention. Brunch pastry is either baked on-site (when the menu allows) or sourced fresh from established bakery relationships — never reheated frozen.

    Sample Brunch Menus

    • Classic brunch. Smoked salmon board with bagels and condiments, frittata station, hand-cut breakfast pastries, fresh fruit, mimosa pairing.
    • Bridal brunch. Crab cake Benedict, citrus salad, breakfast pastries, smoked fish display, fresh juice and prosecco service.
    • Post-wedding brunch. Breakfast sandwich station, frittata, hash brown casserole, fresh fruit, coffee service.
    • Family Sunday brunch. Pancake and waffle station, savory egg dish, breakfast meats, fresh juice, pastries.

Why Book Private Brunch Chef With Chef Matts

Bringing a chef into your home should feel calm, considered, and personal — not transactional. Every booking with Chef Matts Culinary Creations starts with a real conversation about your household: how many people you're feeding, the dietary preferences and restrictions involved, the kitchen we'll be working in, and the kind of experience you want to create. From there, Chef Matt builds a custom menu and confirms every detail in writing well before the date.

The service itself is fully turnkey. We handle planning, seasonal sourcing, in-home cooking, plating or portioning, and a complete kitchen cleanup before we leave. With more than eighteen years in professional kitchens — including time as an executive chef by age twenty-two and ongoing membership in the United States Personal Chef Association — Chef Matt brings restaurant-level technique into homes across South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, the Philadelphia Main Line, and South Carolina's Grand Strand.
